PSX Isos (First half!) |

So in my attempt to keep up with news for the site, I've gone ahead and added what I have on the server as of now in regards to PSX isos. We have the letters A-L (missing B and D, if you know where I can find torrents of these, please let me know). I'm still working on getting the second half of the alphabet, but there are almost 500 files to play around with, so enjoy those first as I work on the rest.
So go on and check them out, and stay tuned for a couple more updates that I'll have for you all. B) |

An update!? New MAME Roms |

What's this? Two months without a posting on the main site?
While it appears that nothing has happened in the past two months, I can assure you I've been doing my best getting stuff worked out on the backend of everything. While I've been completely swamped with college work, I've found time here and there to play around with some stuff.
But in regards to the site, I've actually added a completely updated MAME set to the site. The best part of this all? Now all of the MAME files have their correct game names listed, so it'll be easier to browse for the game that you're actually looking for. So head over to the section and enjoy.
Finally, DG is turning 5 years old this year! I can't believe that it's been 5 years since I started this site just as a hobby. It's grown larger than I could have ever imagined, and has lead me to my future field of employment. In celebration of DG's birthday, I'll be having some more updates soon to come, I just have to add them to the website. I promise to keep everyone updated more so now. |

Brand New Servers |

Well, it appears we're back alive yet again. In case you all didn't notice over the past month, but the website was extremely slow and the download speeds were lacking. We were on "new hardware" that just wasn't working like it should have been.
So, I've gone ahead and just completely revamped the way the website works and is configured. DohGames now has two servers: One completely dedicated to its pages, and another solely dedicated to all of the downloads.
What does this mean for all of you? Much faster browsing through the website and pages, and much much faster download speeds. We'll be able to handle quite a lot more users at any time.
The move is not complete yet
I am still in the middle of trying to fix everything. Some systems still don't work, such as the SNES which I'm trying to fix, the MAME because I'm adding a complete new collection and the Playstation ISOs because I'm going to be upgrading that system to include a complete US selection!
All I can ask is that you please be patient as I work through all of this. I can promise you, that when everything is running at 100%, DohGames will be even greater than before. |

New Server / Issues / DS Roms Updated |

Well, it's been quite a hectic past week or so. We're finally on the new server, and there have been multiple "technical difficulties".
However, I've been doing my best to make sure things are working correctly. I've gone through an optimized a lot of the code, and still have more to do in that area. I've restructured some things, and updated a lot of old techniques. I believe it's made the site load faster and will put less strain on the new server.
In other news, the DS section appears to be getting more and more popular, which is awesome. With the help of a friend, we've been able to keep the system as up to date as possible when the rom-packs are released. I can continue posting it in the news when there's a new update, but you should be just fine checking out the page from time to time. |

GBA Roms, Release IDs and More! |

Haven't done this in a while, but I've actually updated DohGames' collection of Gameboy Advance games! Before we only had up to 2500, but there were a little bit over 300 that I was still missing as they continue to release GBA games from time to time (who knew!?). So as of now, we have 2808 GBA roms in DG.
I believe there may still be newer GBA games out there and I'll do my best to find them.
I've also enabled viewing GBA roms by their release ids, just like the DS roms. This will help you guys out if you're looking for the newer GBA games.
One final thing: I fixed the news comment system. They had stopped working temporarily because of some server tweaking that I had done, but they now work again. If you find any bugs in the site, please report them either in the news comments, forums or by email. |

I've gone ahead and added the next set of DS roms, updating DG's collection to 2349. The titles include:

I've also gone ahead and added the new Rom Search feature to the download manager. This will allow you all an easier way to find any rom that you wish. It's currently in a rough, beta form so don't expect it to be anywhere near perfect just yet. I'm still working out all of the kinks. If you have any issues with it, please let me know on the forums.
I'll be adding more and more functionality to the search, such as searching specific systems, but that'll happen in due time. |
